Siu Mai, Siew Mai, Shu Mai, Shao Mai, - many spellings but it means the same - Steamed pork & prawn dumping, a traditional chinese dumpling, likely one of the first few items you order during your Dim Sum Yum Cha session.
Filled with minced pork, shrimp, chinese mushroom, spring onion, water chestnut, seasoned with chinese wine, soy sauce, sesame oil, chicken stock, wrapped with a thin layer of dough.
